Softly past 1000 point mark for the year
April is my least favourite month for betting but I have slowly been accumulating my profits and have past quietly through the 1000 point mark for the calendar year. If you are subscribing to a service that have made more profit than that this year then let me know as I want to join. :) I expect the next 4 months to generate around 60% of my profit for the year so I am looking for the next 4 months to generate around 3200 points at ROI of around 45%. The reason I don’t update the blog much is because when a system works and works like clock work there is not really much to say about it. My apprentices are all ticking along nicely too.
I am looking forward to the General Election, should some easy money to make there. The weather will determine the results so dont worry Gordon all is not lost yes. If all rain heavily across the country you get in by the skin of your teeth. In addition I am looking forward to the 20/20, Newmarket at the weekend. and last but not least the World Cup. I will laying England and Spain.

Time for an update
It is my least favourite month of the years but things are ticking along nicely. I am over 200 points in front for the month with a stack of racing to come. I am really enjoying stuff right at the minute. I am see other system struggling like the form guru and most of the service that JP uses on his blog. The problem is and I have highlighted this before most of this subscription services have a short life span less than 2 years. JP has proved this and what a horrible time to prove when he is relying on the income. It is not a problem when it is a second income as long as you know when t0 stop and paper trade. If things are not working then paper trade this is the ultimate discipline. Prove to yourself the system works again before putting you hard earned back on.
Joy and Pain
The joy came in the form of smashing the bookies up for the second day running (110 pts in 2 days). The pain came in the form of a crushing defeat for Middlesex, followed by a thumping win for Man City and the final nail in the coffin, Portsmouth winning in extra time. Pick up a nice Murphy bonus. Yes, I tried to buy a Spurs win by backing Portsmouth. The only good news was the draw of Manchester United which means my monster bet on Chelsea to win the Premiership looks very secure right at the minute. Will consider locking in the profit but I think might let it ride. To be honest the money will be a bonus. Don’t really enjoy locking money up for that long. I will be laying England to win the world cup along with Spain but will wait until nearer the time.
Spain 5/1 and England 6/1 to win the World Cup give me a break. Spain should be around 10/1 and England at least 20/1. Rooney or no Rooney. Naturally I will go mental if we do win.
Anyway time to bury myself in work whilst licking my wounds. Well done Portsmouth and well done Worcestershire. Fraser seriously we need some cover for when Shah and Morgan not available to play. Our batting order is very weak especially as Strauss very rarely perform for us. No strength in depth in the bowling department either. A long season ahead methinks.

Proud of you Tony
It was a great day for racing yesterday as Tony McCoy finally won the grand national aboard Don’t Panic. I was thankfully on at 20/1 in the end. It was one of 6 horses on my watch list but I had to be sure the money was solid for it and it was not just the house wives money. The money came late think and fast so I missed 25/1 and 22/1 but was happy to settle for 20/1. Yesterday was a good day overall notching up 63 points profit for the day but it has still been a very poor start to the month. This is often the case in April though so I am not bothered.
I am coming to the end of other a couple of project that have been consuming a lot of my time so I am hoping to be able to post more frequency at some stage. Next weekend marks the 1 year anniversary of leaving lastminute.com. For some reason it feels like a birthday. It has been a tremendous year and I have learnt so much. Now it is time to reaps the rewards of the hard work.
I will soon be launching my new system which I have extremely high expectations off. I won’t go into it because you wont have access to it so would be pretty pointless.
Good luck to the Yids today against Portsmouth.

A game returns to thump the bookies
Very little racing yesterday and very little to get excited about apart from the fact my a game returned to notch in a good day. It has lifted my ROI to 39.1% for the month. I need another stonking day to lift past 40% on the last day of the month but it was nice to be in the groove yesterday.
1 down 3 to go
1 of the websites I have been migrated went live this weekend which is good news. 2 more to go very soon and then I am be able to focus more exclusively on the racing. On that front have been treading water for the last few days but no harm done. I will be looking for 2 strong days to end the month.

A little better but a long way to go
Again the distractions of a last minute push for a go live on a completely unrelated project still meant my mojo was far from back yesterday. I did secure a profit from the bookies and maintain the 3 day profit circle which was pleasing. Some of my apprentices absolutely caned the bookies yesterday which was pleasing. I will be at Kempton today which should be good fun albeit have to leave early to put this project live.

Overconfidence and complacency
I thought it was a case of a bad luck the losing days over the last 2 days but when I analyse my performance as is often the case there is no where to hide. You guessed it my GPP performance has dipped considerably over the last 2 days and the net result is I have crossed over to the dark side. The good news is that I have identified after just 2 days and know how to sort it.
The graph below illustrates this. You will see the purple line going south and coinciding with the blue line going south.

A rare sequence of losing days
I am suffering with the dreaded seconditus
It has been with me for the last 2 days but I am sure I am over the worst of it. Gave the bookies 10 points today so that 14 back in 2 days. Will be wanting some interest on that tomorrow bookies so be ready. Enjoying my banter with Sportingbet at the minute.
